Dr. Nashwa Aziz Elrashidy was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She attended Michigan State University in 2006 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science. After undergrad, she went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she graduated with honors in 2010. In 2011, she completed a General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Some of her most unique experiences there included: performing full mouth dental rehabilitation on pediatric and special needs patients in the operating room, and providing care to underserved neighborhoods on a mobile dental unit. Following residency, Dr. Aziz joined a private practice in Chicago. After four very cold winters in Chicago, Dr. Aziz and her husband decided to relocate to the Bay Area in 2014. She has loved growing her family in this wonderful community, where she is a mom to two young children.

Dr. Aziz is committed to providing the best dental care to her patients in a kind and compassionate manner, and making it feel less like the usual dental visit. She believes in staying at the forefront of dentistry. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Aziz is dedicated to expanding her skill set in a way that allows her to provide the most up-to-date treatment. She is passionate about the field of dentistry and continues to expand her knowledge through continuing education courses such as Kois Education. Dr. Aziz has expanded her knowledge of orthodontics through mentorship and has completed over 300 Invisalign® cases. Being able to give patients a reason to smile is truly rewarding.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, trying the latest fitness trend, traveling, walking her dog (Lupe), and rooting for her Michigan State Spartans.
